So this is an exciting day - we previewed a little something that I've been working on for a few months now. The gorgeous girls at TANKA asked me to help develop their organic juices, smoothies, milks, and teas for their very-soon-to-be launch in Melbourne. I couldn't have loved working on this more, playing chef in the kitchen to design a range that is not only delicious, but is based in good nutrition and uses aspects of herbal medicine to supercharge these bottles. The ethos of TANKA is what really grabbed me. Natural health is becoming hugely popular and fashionable (yay!) but it was their dedication to ensuring that these are consciously crafted, from every angle, that really got me on board. Organic, locally sourced, and stored in glass bottles, this is the epitome of food-as-medicine. They are all about no-fads, whole foods, and understand the importance of balance in maintaining good health.
Today we showcased the greens juice that boasts turmeric and pineapple for digestion, a yummy acai and blueberry smoothie, and a chamomile and cardamom almond milk for a before-bed treat.
